Their inspiration... Born August 2, 2002, Christian Eilam Sorenson, looked fabulous and perfect, it was hard to believe that he had a fatal heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Due to his condition and his unique anatomy he needed a heart transplant, which he received at nine days old on August 11, 2002. We were told this would give him the best chance at a normal life.
