Growing up in the Bay Area of California, Rex has always had a passion for classic and hard rock. His influences have been from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones and later from The Who to Pink Floyd.
Rex started playing the piano at age 7 and the guitar at age 12. He followed the works of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Paige, Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoades among many other notable guitarists.
Rex’s studies are in music theory and classic guitar leading him to play with bands nationwide, from New York to San Fransisco.
Rex’s walk with Christ began in 2004, in turn giving him a stronger sense of purpose in his music.
In the fall of 2010, Rex was asked to join forces with the ministry ‘Of David’. After much prayer from band members and family members, it became obvious that this was God’s calling on Rex.
Rex is honored to be a part of this ministry and gives all of the glory to Christ our savior.
